The third race of the 1950 National Stock Car Series took place on May 7, 1950 at Flemington Fair Speedway in Flemington, New Jersey. The race comprised 400 laps around a 5/8 mile dirt oval. Cameron Yost won his second pole of the season, and had a third dominant performance in a row, leading the first 246 laps before an engine failure eliminated him from the race. James August took home the victory after passing Ralph Stanton with 30 laps remaining in the race. Points leader Will Gordon finished 19th after a crash mid-race.
In 1970, following the series' established race naming guidelines, this race was retroactively named the 1950 Round of New Jersey.
