Morgan John Ingram (born 22 August 1996) is an American racing driver currently competing in the North American Stock Car Tour for Red Bull Motorsports, driving the #9 Honda.

Prior to his time in the NASCT, Ingram ran two seasons in the SC-4 United States Central Championship, winning in 2013 and finishing runner up to Piper Benjamin in 2014.

Racing Career[edit | edit source]

SC-4 Championship Series[edit | edit source]

Ingram took part in the inaugural SC-4 United States Central Championship in 2013 as part of Red Bull's development program. Ingram won two of the three races during the series' sixth round at Road America, and was able to win the championship by three points over teammate Blake Austin and five over McLaughlin Motorsports driver Bailey Collier.

Ingram returned to defend his title in 2014; the departure of Austin (to Champ Car Lights) and Collier (to the NASCT Truck Series) made Ingram the odds-on favorite to win the title. Despite improving in every metric compared to 2013, Ingram lost the title by 197 points to Piper Benjamin, who won all three SC-4 United States titles in 2014. Ingram opted not to return for the 2015 season, instead moving to the NASCT Junior Series with Red Bull.

Personal Life[edit | edit source]

Ingram was born on August 22, 1996 in Las Vegas, Nevada. His father, Paul, is a former drag racer who won championships in both the Top Fuel and Funny Car divisions. His mother, Lisa, is a security analyst for hotels and casinos on the Las Vegas strip. Ingram is the third of five children: his siblings are Brandon (born 1990), Dana (born 1992), Kyle (born 1999), and Patrick (born 2001).

Ingram is openly gay; he came out on Vine in 2015, a post that was subsequently viewed over 40 million times. Since 2019, he has been engaged to actor Lucian Meadows. Meadows, an avid racing fan, met Ingram at a charity auction for No H8, and had attended every race since he and Ingram began their relationship until the COVID-19 pandemic closed the infield to loved ones.
