Packard was a luxury automotive marque produced by the Packard Motor Company of Detroit, Michigan from 1899 until 1958, with the final Detroit-built Packard being produced in 1956. Packard officially supported stock car racing for two seasons, 1953 and 1954, before withdrawing from motorsports following the company's merger with Studebaker.
