The SC-4 Arab Championship (Arabic: البطولة العربية للأوراق المالية) is a stock car racing championship series run under the guidance of the World Stock Car Association and its Jordanian affiliate, the Stock Car Racing Association of Jordan (SCRAJ), who are contracted as the league's promoter.
History[edit | edit source]
In 2012, the World Stock Car Association unveiled the updated WSCC Global Pathway, intended to bridge the gap from junior series to international stock car racing; the first step was to create the developmental tier of stock car racing, which would be regionally focused to enable driver development.
The WSCA announced a partnership with the Jordanian Racing Association, the primary motorsports governing body in Jordan, to create a stock car racing series for the Arab world; stock car racing was beginning to gain popularity, thanks to the construction of the King Abdullah II Amman Motordrome in Jordan, as well as the World Stock Car Championship race in Dubai. The JRA announced the creation of the Stock Car Racing Association of Jordan in 2014.
The Arab Stock Car Racing Championship Series was formally announced in 2016, and Chevrolet was named as the official chassis and engine supplier the following year.

The championship features cars designed and built to resemble the street version of the Chevrolet Malibu Premier. The cars are constructed primarily out of fiberglass, and feature the General Motors 1.6L ECOTec engine.
The Chevrolet Malibu is also used as the official car in the SC-4 American Championships, and is allowed for use in multiple other SC-4 series.
